There are a couple of things I see in here that could help with education. Number one among them is lobbying for the development of a comprehensive, relatively small, single book that each child gets given to cover a number of educational fields. This could be kept at home. A second, shared copy could be available at the school, with more information and questions for the teacher to give to students. This might negate the need for choices such as photocopying or lunch, while cutting down on extraneous material that isn't needed. A sort of summary of educational concepts, if you will. Children would not have to carry the book anywhere, yet could be taught at school and review the concepts at home.
