If we are to
innovate,
instead of merely pushing forward the current solutions, we need to:
* Look at current best practice
* Analyze current challenges
* Collaborate
Innovation is not to keep repeating current solutions, without asking further questions. Without asking how to scale a good project, to replicate it in other places, or make it more efficient or have simpler design.
Innovation is complex. It can be simple, but mostly it is simple only after tons of failure and a very complicated process.
Open innovation requires the free flow of information.
Open innovation requires us to properly link bits of current information.
Open innovation requires specific measurement of where to put our attention.
Can we already, after the first week of EVOKE, give examples of innovation that have actually taken place here?
