In my view, champions of an industry are people that make technologies accessible to all. As a result, my POWER PLAYER is Milan Karki, who is 18, and has created a way to make solar energy available to those who cannot afford expensive Solar technology.
His concept is simple, human hair. Because silicon is expensive in solar panels, driving up their price, Milan saw opportunity, and used hair as a cheap, and available replacement, perfect for the sustainability and re-use that I've been pushing for in my previous blog posts!
