Power vote for the NEGAWATT revolution !

Dear Evoke Agents,

Please have a look at my new Evidence: Power vote for the Negawatt revolution!

As it is the final day of our third mission, on energy, before the next subject tomorrow, I am sending you my final Act on the subject. I have been trying to look at possible solutions that are widely applicable and that can make a real impact on a global basis. I have the conviction that it is the case with NEGAWATTS.

The concept of Negawatt power is the idea of creating incentives to reduce demand for electricity to ease the load at peak times or alleviate the need to build more generation plants. (Wikipedia)

By extension, a Negawatt is the marginal quantity of power, energy, not only electricity that we could save by changing our habits, our way of thinking, our natural tendency to consume.

By going for energy conservation, by looking for efficient energy use, we can all make a difference, and that’s what we’re all looking for.

The Negawatt philosophy could be applied by anyone, anywhere, widely. It can make a real impact, and best of all at no cost. Quite the opposite, you are saving money as you are saving energy. No need for new technology. No need for new investment. No need for a transition period.

We can all participate, and do it now!

As mentioned in my previous Evidences on this Energy mission, some solutions already exist, even if only for a portion of the problem.

We can help reducing the negative impacts of peak oil!

It's a great idea. every one should do their best to use as little energy as they comfortably can.

Thanks for sharing. But I don't think it's feasible in near future.

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
