Urgent Evoke

A crash course in changing the world.

I'm writing a paper about EVOKE. I was hoping you could leave problems you see with EVOKE in the comments of this blog so I can investigate and analyze them to try and improve the game. Thanks.

Can I suggest you ask for positives or unexpected benefits as well? This seems like such negative tone to come to a site with...

Here's something I wrote about you might be interested

If you really want to find problems you can use the search feature at the top of the page too.

Thanks for post. I'll look over my blogs...My focus is on positives, but there are improvable features too. I consider this a Beta experience. Here is oneof mine: http://www.urgentevoke.com/profiles/blogs/life-game-playing-cheatin...

Nicholas... I appreciate the positive attitude, but I really am looking for issues. For a positive spin, if people would like to include possible solutions to the problems they see, I'd really like that info as well. Thanks for the comment.

Cool, from your studies you look just the man to write such a paper. I think you might need a copy of the database to do anything definitive with the statistic side of your knowledge though.

i.e. Has anyone noticed the numbers that have accepted the various missions?
- A sixth of all participants have bothered to get to the first part of the first mission.
- Not many at all have completed all missions so far and uptake is shrinking as missions goes on.

I'm sure Alchemy has the tools to search out percentages of positive input vs negative input. Practical input vs inspirational input etc, etc. I'd love to see the stats on it all. Perhaps it will come out in the end.

As for your neuroscience skills, we all need our brains read. :-)

As for what can be improved, I guess anything we write where game play can be improved as bugs etc are better reported on the link at the bottom of the page.

Is the aim of the game to win (get the most point's, share in the sponsors prize pool, gain the ear of a stronger change agent), or to push change activity into the real world?

Gotcha, well there are a number of discussions going on about the way the leaderboard used to work. Check out my blogs and you'll see a catalog of that as well as a few other things that I'm trying to improve with the help of the users rather than the creators. But to me, those aren't problems, but fun challenges for the userbase to solve together.....Looks like you're in the military, I learned that type of thinking from a former manager of mine that was in the Army. If you looked at opposition as a problem, you'd be demoralized in combat right? That's why I'm trying to spread the same mentality soldiers use, which is to work the challenge and come through it stronger as a team.

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
