Simple Solution as core of meaningful innovation

Thinking about it, "Do the hard work needed to find a simple solution." is certainly a very important, not only in technical contexts. Imagine everyday products, some of them are simple to operate, because the engineers put a lot of effort in the design and the usability.

The same is true for social innovations or procedures, in social contexts it is probably even more important, simplicity makes a matter easier to understand and more transparent. So instead just implementing some "good idea" it actually makes sense to think and re-think the idea and approach it from different angles.

Most of the other secrets of innovation are important in their own right, but only if an idea is actually thought through with the people it might affect and their circ***tances in mind can something meaningful develop. Real broad acceptance of such ideas has to be based on understanding and truth, for that simplicity is vital. Simplicity not necessarily in the matter but truthful simplicity in the explanation.
