Urgent Evoke

A crash course in changing the world.

Social-Economic innovation powered by technology

Sustainability of a project is one of the way to judge a project success. A huge majority of the
African population lack access to basic social amenities that to
others its a way of life. Diseases, conflicts and wars, military
coup, corrupt government officials and poverty are the order of the
day in Africa.B ut out of all this quagmire of pestilence and lack of
hope comes stories of hope and light to the world.

A large number of the populace in Africa are un-banked they can't access any
financial institution to transact their commercial business the
reasons let that be an insight for another day. Kenya in particular
was at the front at innovation a new platform where money and people
will interact without the confines of the four walls of a bank. The
new innovation tool was M-pesa(mobile money transfer)

M-pesa is a service powered by a leading telecommunication giant in
Kenya allowing you to transfer money using a mobile phone. Kenya is
the first country in the world to use this
service, which is offered in partnership between Safaricom and
Vodafone. This service is available to its subscribers and can be accessed even if
you do not have a bank account. With an un-banked 65% of the adult
population and a mobile penetration of over 80% of the total
population of Kenya this service was a revolutionary storm.I t
service has created jobs both directly and indirectly to over 250,000
people since its inception 3 years ago. This service supports a daily
average transaction of Kshs 40 Billion($ 540 million) it has totally
changed the concept of mainstream banking .Harvard Business School is
doing a case study on this service.

This social innovation in conjunction with technology has empowered people economically for me
this service can be transformed to support other services;paying
utility bills in the comfort of your home,Supporting an orphans
education. The list is endless. This great idea was a brain child of
a college professor and He has sought to be anonymous today. To that
unknown inventor He is my hero

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
