Strive for Balance (Equilibirum) not Equality (=)
Hi, this is something i think about often and it sort of blurted out whilst commenting on someone elses Profile .. so copied from there:
Equality is over emphasised in the modern world, and is a pretty artificial concept. the symbol '=' is rarely found easily in nature, its balance we should be striving for. A good place, imo to find this balance is in brain size, it controversial I know but bare with me, there is a point to this. Its a fact that women actually have shorter generations than men, it comes down to how long you are able to breed for on a base level, so throughout evolutionary time, women have been 'evolving faster' than men and we have also been selecting for intelligence (deliberately or not) throughout this time, why then are women not instantly recognisable as 'smarter than men' ? I'd say the answer is fairly simple to see .. we have been selecting for 'equality' of mind all along, whether aware of it or not, its balance that has been sought after, and so women's minds have ended up (on average) smaller, but more densley packed than mens, or more efficient if you like. It also fits with a lot of the folk lore, of 'witches' and 'women who know too much' being shunned throughout history in many cultures, and revered for these same reasons in others. The meal
It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal. I walk to the fridge and open it to see what there is for me to eat.
