Summer at the Beach
In 2020, I hope to still be celebrating my christmas holidays by the beach as I have done for the last 20 odd years. The very hot summer days during this time means power consumption in the city is at its very peak. Most houses have at least one, and often more than one air conditioner in operation. There should be a way that we could capture the heat of the day to power our air conditioners inside the home. On the roof we should see a system where possibly there is a solar panel which is used to power the air conditioner and there is no reliance on outside energy from the power grid to make this applicance run. This would help to avoid blackouts which frequently occur when the power grid is put to its limits and cant cope. Hopefully in 2020, on my summer holiday I wont be reading in the paper in the morning that yesterdays power consumption broke all the records of previous summers, which currently is a common news item.

Fourth of July on the Lake
This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The meal
It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal. I walk to the fridge and open it to see what there is for me to eat.
