Urgent Evoke

A crash course in changing the world.

Ten years from now will be 2025 for me - I will be 49 and have 23 and 21 year old daughters.
I find I find it very hard to look that far ahead as I try to live in the present moment so that I don't miss what's happening right now. However, on the current trajectory, my dream would be this....

my girls will be active members of society, probably in higher education and wanting to be world changers rather than just consumers in society.
The company that I work for will have deployed all chapters of the Game that we are developing leading kids to a deeper understanding of the biblical narrative - it will be a raging success, not for the number of users that we have but for the social innovation and community development that it will promote. One of the main goals is to call kids to action in their own communities and experience social innovation while they are still young - using what they have where they are.
I would like to be further involved with Global Impact - empowering children with tools to stop human trafficking and to visit the Orphanage in Uganda to offer to innovative solution for education.

Further to this, I am open to opportunities as they are presented. In a world that is changing so quickly, ten years is a long time and anything can happen!

Listen to the Right People

It's impossible to find a good solution to a problem you don't understand. I think that the first place to start when looking for a solution is understanding the problem by listening to the people it impacts the most. The knowledge one gains creates a foundation for a solution to be built on.Listening to the right people also leads to understanding the circ***tances of the problem: what other social, cultural or political elements contribute to this problem? What has already been tried? Who…See More
