A crash course in changing the world.
Right now, I'm in Thailand, not literally stuck in the midst of the political crisis currently happening right now right this minute in Bangkok, but I'm pretty near it. About an hour and a half away from it to be exact.
Even so the crisis is quickly spreading, and I'm afraid it might even land right on my door step pretty soon.
If it really were to happen, I'd ask for Ushahidi's help. Their system of filtering all the information live and the accuracy of it is all amazing.
To prevent any false accusations from (maybe) false news, the fact that people themselves IN the situation live can send exact information about a matter is really the new deal. The help it gave Haiti was useful, if the political crisis were to continue to spread to other provinces of Thailand, I'm sure it would help save lives in cases of emergency. Anyone who go shot and is unknown once someone notices can help.
Who, What, When, Where...any information that is available would be vital to help saving lives in the midst of this crisis.
