Clean drinking water is one of the biggest problems human kind is facing right now. 2 Million kids die every year, because the do not have acces to clean drinking water. This can be helped. Mchael Pritchard has developed the Lifesaver: a bottle sized filter that can sterilize even the filthiest water, and it does this at less than half a cent a day. However, funding and general awareness are low, meanng that he can not fully utilze the power of the Lifesaver. For this, I plan to set up a donation fund, where students of my university can donate money, used for the purchase and shipment of Lifesavers to countries who suffer from filthy drinking water. I hope that many of you will join me in setting up these fund, so that we can spread the Lifesaver to every location where it might do some good.
