A crash course in changing the world.

In my search for a new water project that is making a great impact, I came across the Lifesaver Bottle. It is a revolutionary and way to give pretty much anyone access to clean water. Here is a demonstration of the Lifesaver Bottle:

Some important takeaways about the Lifesaver Bottle:
  • The filtering system is pretty much perfect. The h***s in the filter are small enough that even the tiniest pathogens don't get through. Also, like any other filtering bottle, the filter stops being effective after a while, but when this one does, the bottle shuts down, and users don't have to wait until they get dysentery to discover they need to change their filter. Moreover, the filtering system is immediate, which saves valuable time. Many of the world's poor spend significant time gathering and filtering water. By cutting down this time requirement, these people are able to spend less of their day on life sustaining activities, creating more time for individual and societal growth.
  • This system can effectively supply clean water to an entire family for an extended period of time. According to the demonstration, each bottle can effectively support a family of 4 for 3 years, based on the lifespan of the filter.
  • This is a cost effective system anywhere in the world. According to the demonstration, this system costs a grand total of $.035 per day. This is huge for bringing clean water to the poor populations. In context, as of 2005, about 16% of the population lived on less than $1 a day, a percentage that has since declined. Still, at one dollar a day, using the Lifesaver Bottle, only 3.5% of a person's daily allowance would be spent on clean water. Not only is this something that the poor can afford, but it can be an effective budgeting choice that will leave them significant funds for other endeavors. By making basic human needs cost effective, we will help world's poorest people finance their most important goal: empowerment.

I like the way you've given us a review of the video. Perhaps you could add some of your own ideas into it, like how you might get these into more people's hands. Thanks for sharing the video and great job on the review.

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development.The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
