Urgent Evoke

A crash course in changing the world.

The future of money should be no future at all. Money came into existence to in order to prevent scarcity, but at this point in time, has become the cause of scarcity. People use money every day of their lives without knowing how it is created or who is responsible for its creation and distribution. We cause harm to our planet in order to gain or save money. It has become a hindrance to progress, technology and creativity. It also has become a tool to augment the vast differences in inequality across the planet. A way to change this dynamic would be to have a resource-based economy instead of a monetary-based economy (FIAT). Then, the questions would be ¨Do we have the resources to solve this problem instead of do we have the money to solve it?¨ and ¨How can we better use the resources we have instead of how can we maximize profits?¨
After all, who profits from profits? We have to remember, the planet doesn´t charge us for the air we breathe, the water we drink, the food we eat. How can we charge ourselves for something that has been given to us for free?
There is a movement that is addressing this issue and trying to educate people about new possibilities for future economies and societies.

I like the way you reason this out. "Money - a Necessary Evil" remains one of the major driving forces of our economies.
Everyday I wake up to see people working so hard - what are they working for?
To earn money, to live a better life.
Money DOESNT not complete life in any way - Even the rich cry but all in all we seek for the money!
The Necessary Evil!

I like the spin on the questions we should be asking ourselves given the nuanced but significant change in perspective (from resources vs. money). Thanks!

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development.The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
