As I am an academic and don't currently live in my home country, this may be a tough one. as it so happens, one of my class mates is doing her thesis on the exploitation of women in Europe. This seems to me to be a good opportunity to both learn a lot and maybe help out. In fact I'm sure I'll help out at least with the English portion as hers isn't that good.
I have to say, the more I delve into this issue the more I find it's riddled with propaganda. A lot of what I see, here and react with on the net is based on a lot of false information. Why? there are enough real problems facing women and real issues of inequality, why are so many people making some of them up? It gives the feeling that someone is trying to make sure no one will see the real progress being made. Is it a feminist thing? I'm really asking, by the way. I would love a real answer.
