We are often scolded, or scold ourselves, for thinking like children. In school, we are told that everything must be complex and that the world thrives on complexity. In reality, a simple world is easier to live in than a world that is riddled (quite literally) with complexities. This is why a child's mind is so extraordinary. Children see what is before their eyes. Not what was there, what could be there, or what should be there, simply what is there. If we think on the simplest terms, we will see and do more than if we try to make everything complicated. We have to remind ourselves that it isn't just computer geniuses and technicians who will live in our world in the very near future; there will also be children, students, and people who aren't great with computers living here, too. By looking at things simply, not only will it make the world easier to understand, more people will be able to understand it. From a young age, children are taught to be creative. Thinking like children is not, nor will it ever be, a bad thing. Not only will thinking like children make us more creative, it will ensure that everyone, from the intellectuals to the infants, will be able to know and understand how their world works. Understanding how the world works is the first step toward bonding as 1 people on the 1 Earth we have to share.
