A crash course in changing the world.

Field Log, Agent Joshua Z.

March 31, 2020 e.v.

07:30 hrs. Villa Cor Leonis. Sunny and breezy, sensors read 65* F.

Having arisen for the day some hours ago, I've already completed morning's Hatha. Kata done. Calisthenics and weight routine#4. I'm tuned up for work!

Breakfast with a dozen or so house-mates, of villa-grown citrus, walnuts, and green-smoothy, with a bit o' goats milk from the H[...] farm next door. The kids had me laughing through my nose.

Off to student meetings, and wool deliveries downtown to that fellow I met at the Family Farm Co-op, and then perhaps lunch at the farmer's market. Oh! Can't forget to pick up that seed from J. in the valley... need to get those in the Tilapia Cycle Building before next round.

Print confirmation for flight to Permaculture India Conference, and make sure it doesn't conflict with the boy's graduation.

12:00 hrs. at biostation:

2 minutes Pranayama, 30-15 cycle. Feeling alert, refreshed.

12:36 hrs. Farmer's Market.

Meetings done and delivery complete. Enjoying a lovely falafel dish, all locally grown ingredients.

15:03 at [literary agent's] office

Signed docs for last marketing push before release. Stone of the Wise: a Practical Guide to Social Alchemy might be my greatest work yet.

16:48 hrs, Beach

Stopped by to get some privacy at the beach... I love the house-mates dearly, but I've got to get through the second draft of the grant proposal before my meeting with Mr. Branson's people next Tuesday.

I really must get out to the new co-op's land, maybe the Planting Festival this April and enjoy the company of good spirits. It'll do this heavy heart some good.

I'm not surprised that last year's Event still weighs heavy on me... but no matter what, 'be the frog!' ...keep moving forward.

Now, on to that proposal!

20:16 hrs Villa C.L.

Returned home to find my diploma had arrived in the mail. Shame that I couldn't make it to the ceremony, but the Cairo situation couldn't wait.

'bout time I got my Master's! I'm only approaching 50, haha. While I'm already too busy to even contemplate beginning an academic career in Cognitive Nutrition, it'll certainly open some doors as a social talisman of credibility... which as my years of 'self-taught' background have shown, a talisman or token of credibility goes a long way in gaining the ear of a client.

Sunset pranayama in the herb garden, with a lovely view of the Buckydomes of the property gleaming in the pink-rose of twilight. Meditated thereafter, on what a fortunate man I am to be involved in these gardens of action. I am thankful to have made the right decisions to get to this point...

23:11 hrs. Villa Library

Just got the call from A. ...time to pack for Tokyo.

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Let's start with the chemical constituents of this plant:37 % Non-Nitrogen-Extracts19 - 29 % Ash9 - 21 % Fiber4 % Fat22 % ProteinOnce the leaves are drid, their protein content can reach an astounding 40 %, which is much higher than beef, which even under the best of circ**stances can never exceed 31 % protein. In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

All of the out of date foodstuffs have been automaticaly thrown away by the fridge, they will be recycled tomorrow as animal feed or something. I see i have organic local eggs and some local cheese. Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
