A crash course in changing the world.
I lock up my little art gallery for the night and stroll home, mentally finessing my latest house design. At this time of the evening the heat subsides to a pleasant, blanketing warmth, which I'm hardwired to enjoy. The sky is clear and bright above the darkening land.
I've had a rabbit in the solar cooker all afternoon, stewing with some of the ma**** of tomatoes the garden has produced this year. It smells delicious; I can barely even remember the taste of the beef that used to be a staple.
Once dinner is finished I skip the tv and head straght for my games console. I'm exploring another planet in the role of a botanist. I've been immersed in this game for months, acting as a freelancer for the various agencies, but my calling card is always active. Alchemy contacts me in-game: do I want to be part of an extreme gardening team to hit Japan? Hell yes!
The distributed Nursery is already well-stocked...we control remote avatars to collect the seedlings from our contacts and get them planted...everywhere...
...or maybe that's more like 2120?
