This is a true story from Kampala, Uganda. Hunger exists
One evening in Kampala city, Uganda. I needed to lift a my luggage to a car and asked the onlooking security man (a.k.a Askari) to help me. After lifting the luggage to the car, the security man told me he had not eaten anything for the wh*** day. I offered 2,000 shs (approx $1) to the man and asked him to buy local bread (locally known as Chapti). He replied "In the night, a person can not die of hunger so I have to wait and buy something to eat tomorrow".
So fellow agents, it's real we need to innovate and make sure everyone gets enough food. It is common here, a person has to go empty stomach in order to save some money to buy cloth for children and wife.
