Vijay Mahajan - my hero
Vijay Mahajan, founder of BASIX - a new generation livelihood promotion organization in India, is the greatest visionary I have ever met thus far. His ideas, vision, actions, articulation and command over issues the world around him faces amazes me. His positive energy is so contagious that I have seen no one who met him and not became of fan for him instantly. He is not a spiritual guru or an academic but a real 'action hero'. He is a real social innovator and thinks of solutions all the time. Best thing about him is he doesn't mind accepting defeat when something doesn't seem to be working but at the same time doesn't give up until he has tried the idea with full commitment. Not just a good thinker and doer, he is also an amazing manager, friend, philosopher and economist in his own right. I was honored with an opportunity to work with him, travel with him, listen, debate and discuss with him. I am blessed to know him personally and consider him my hero and guru.

Fourth of July on the Lake
This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal.
