As much as I would really like to volunteer for this cause, I just do not have the time to do so. However, as was suggested in the mission description, we as Evoke Agents (along with everyone else) can still make a difference by donating money instead of time.
So that's what I did. I took a strong liking to the 'Water for People
' organization which has introduced the PlayPump along with many other innovations and projects. As a student (who isn't even employed part-time right now) I chose to donate what I could afford: $20CDN. I could even choose to donate it to a specific sub-branch of the organization, so I chose to give my donation to my local branch in Vancouver.
I took my first step this week towards working with a water visionary.
