A crash course in changing the world.

"see and do the obvious"

Indifference....

...What could possibly be worse than that 12-letter word in this tight spot that we are now living in.

Let's face it, we are living in a world filled with so much chaos and greediness. People are going banana's over oil, pleasure, and fame. (I know, these are really random words... I'm a random person) Some of us are spilling coffee/chocolate milkshakes when the taste is not suited for our liking while a group of 5 children in some corner of our planet would run 10 miles just to get a sip of the browny goodness. (Sounds wrong... I know)

I, personally, am admitting that I do have my greedy moments... specially when I'm driving home from school and a bunch of street children knock on my window for a chance of getting some spare change. I honestly feel sad whenever I see their faces all caught up with the dust and smoke from the urban jungle plus the scorching heat of the sun. Every knock on my window sends a sense of irritation in me for two reasons:

1.) I just cleaned my car... and I dont have spare change... so go away... You're making me concsious.

2.) You don't deserve this kind of living... I just hope I can do something... I'm sorry.

I know a lot of people who take their "riches" for granted. They buy so much products and luxury items while "the obvious" is standing right infront of them. I consider myself to be part of the "a lot of people" I mentioned earlier because I always stay in this shell of mine as much as I can. I hope you don't judge me or anything because there is a reason why I'm making a blog post right now.
Most of us neglect the fact that people are starving (to death) and are crying for help while no one answers. People who actually give a damn about a fallen Oreo Cookie while some laugh at it and impose the "5 second rule" on it. (You know... when some food falls on the ground.. you have 5 seconds to eat it or else it wouldn't be edible anymore because of dirt) It's really pretty obvious that all of us know the situation some people face and we're all like "well... too bad for em... now let me take a sip on this Starbucks Mocha Frap".

Indifference.... break it....

IN.
DIFFERENCE.

Don't just look... Go IN and experience what they always wanted to say to you. And make a big DIFFERENCE while you're at it.

Just imagine our world if every rich family wouldn't buy an Audi TT but would set it aside to give a family a month's supply of food and drink. I'm not bashing people who have Audi's... But I hope you can see this objectively... People walk barefoot for miles just to go to school... People dive in seas of garbage to get plastic and sell them... And yes, People eat your leftovers and you don't even know it.

What would you rather have... a car that needs constant gasoline to run... or smiles from a family that couldn't have been healthier if it wasn't for you...

I'm just a student and I haven't even graduated yet to help and reach out. My school provides the reaching out thing but of course, we have some grade requirement to achieve in order to pass the course.... so we take it for granted... But it also helped my eyes open wide and hug the people in depressed areas....

I hope most will take the big leap....

.... to see and do the obvious.

Thank you for taking the time to read too. :) They really don't deserve to be sleeping on the streets.. they deserve shelter and some quality time playing with their peers! :)

Dude, do you write poetry or make vlogs? Cause your words are packed with rhythm; it's really catchy!

Thanks for the compliment but no I don't. :) I just believe that when you really want something, the words will come out as passionately as you want it to be.

And as for Vlogs, i really want to try and engage in something like that... But i dont have a camera to begin with. Haha

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Let's start with the chemical constituents of this plant:37 % Non-Nitrogen-Extracts19 - 29 % Ash9 - 21 % Fiber4 % Fat22 % ProteinOnce the leaves are drid, their protein content can reach an astounding 40 %, which is much higher than beef, which even under the best of circ**stances can never exceed 31 % protein. In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

The meal

It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal. I walk to the fridge and open it to see what there is for me to eat. All of the out of date foodstuffs have been automaticaly thrown away by the fridge, they will be recycled tomorrow as animal feed or something. I see i have organic local eggs and some local cheese. Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
