What am I doing at Evoke?
Someone just asked me this because I replied to them that their request would be against what I was trying to do here, and I thought my answer might be interesting to others as well, so here it is:
In general I'm trying to study this site as a model for the internet. I have noticed some twists they've done here to make it different than
other social networks. With the blog setup, they have basically given
everyone access to a network of websites to create and asked everyone to
go. In this way it's very much how the internet begun. However, now,
people have some ideas on how to use the internet, and this is an
extremely motivated group, so changes are happening more rapidly. It's
like using mice to simluate humans due to their shorter life spans.
Anyways, in the favorites blog in particular, I'm trying to show that
there can be an expert aggregator, like Google is to the internet. But
to be an expert aggregator, you must have credibility. The way you do
that is with quality control, and thus I must make sure I really like
the things that I post on that page (and believe they add value).

tagging of others' content should be possible. much faster and much more collaborative than this. i assume you know intricately how del.icio.us works.
but yes, lists can work. i just think its inefficient.
i prefer data to be in a pool

The meal
It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal. public servants
