Many of the social innovation suggestions in Exhibit A are great. Some I know and some are new. Many are good reminders. However, I have chosen the above because one of my issues is on taking the jump into action. I'm an excellent planner but planning and planning and planning then planning some more doesn't lead to results now does it. Someone several years ago showed me the light on this and so now I know how important beginning is.
Yes beginning. It's there that the ethereal finally crosses the boundary into reality. What better way to begin with what you do have? These are our real enablers. Our tools from which we might create something innovative.
So I am going to take stock of what I do have and try to figure out what to do with it.
