A crash course in changing the world.
A simple line. But true.
I give my vote to The Water Project. The projects focus lies on Africa, especially Kenya, Rwanda, Suda, Uganda, Sierra Leone. A seperate task is providing wells at schools.
The problems of no access to clear water are presented in pictural way. The access to clear water improves problems related to health, poverty, hunger and education in a significant way.
The combination of community engagement, community education, installing wells and further education as well as monitoring are an appropriate way to change the situation of suffering people.
As a donor you support local NGOs which are building wells (or use another technology) to provide clear water and which care for education on how to use water efficiently.
Maybe not awe-inspiring for us.
But for them.
