Urgent Evoke

A crash course in changing the world.

I have just tried to see a.v.koshy's page and I can't find it. First I tried the leader board link because I was interested to see what he had written for Imagine5, it didn't link. Then on my friend page he seems to have disappeared.
Can anyone help?

I have no updates on a.v.

NING has been notified as has our systems people. We know from past experience that sometimes it takes 24 hours or longer for NING to get to account problems. Again, at this point I can only ask for your patience.

Perhaps wait and let the admins sort it out? He hasn't been banned, take their word for it.

According to management, AV Koshy left the network and deleted all of his content.

The explanation is that Koshy left the EVOKE network, according to the management tools that Ning gives us to monitor and check members.

Many thanks to everyone who wondered along with me where he is. Funny thing about a game, it is like a box.Just googling his name will take you to him. If he has gone from here I'll miss his poesie. Many will.

Ethan, the picture is of a standard management tool. If you install a blog or a bulletin board on your site, you'll see something very similar. It says a.v.koshy joined March 13, 2010 and left April 6. I was actually wondering if that wasn't what happened. It seems to me, on the bulletin boards I've worked on the only way to really remove everything by a person is if they do it themselves, by withdrawing. Had that happen once with someone I'd given a lot of help to on a bulletin board. He got mad and went off in a huff, taking down all of his threads on the bulletin board-- and all of my long and laboriously written comments with them. Since then I try to keep copies of everything I write if it takes me more than a few minutes to do.

Sarah, you may be right. But I am the administrator of a Ning network, and when I ban people they go away with all their content. This is the wh*** point of it, because we only ban spammers and hookers, who leave hundreds of messages on people's walls, and the messages contain links which we really don't want on our network. So the funcionality HAS to delete content for it to be useful.

But it's also true that when you decide to leave a Ning network yourself you take all your content with you. So the mystery remains :-)

@Alberto...I have a question...
Is it possible to recover deleted accounts?

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development.The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
