I found an interesting blog discussing the developing world's water crisis. It said that we should begin to view this water crisis as the world's water crisis. The world's water cycle is an interconnected system that affects all of us. This means we should all be mindful of the consequences of our usage of water, as it affects the entire world. I liked this quote:
"Water is, and always has been, scarce,” Cousteau says. “The truth is,
we really need to go back to grade school Earth Science class and
remember that water on the planet exists in an interconnected cycle.”
To me, it seems that this approach has merits for prevention of water crisis in the future, but right now it wont solve an acute water crisis.
