A Small village outside Balaka. Sunset at the local clinic. The corridors of the clinic are lined with bodies of people who are dying from AIDS. The clinic staff try make their patients as comfortable as possible, but the clinic lacks medical supplies and manpower. Outside the clinic, there is a line of people which extends from the door out onto the earth trodden ground.These are people living with the HIV virus and who have come to get their monthly mixes of anti-retro virals. There are none this month, the village is isolated and the health department lacks transport to distribute ARV'S. Furthermore, money which is given to the Malawi government to spend on ARVS has been squandered by the corrupt leaders in power.

HEAD OF THE NGO:
I dont understand, where did the money for the ARV's go, our records clearly show the funds we have pushed into Malawi so the people have their monthly supply of ARVS?
NGO Malawi Representative
Sir, the situation on the ground is one of terrible conditions. The Malawi government is corrupt and are using the funds for their own endevours, little of the money we raise leaves the pockets of the governmental officials. Clinics across the country are understaffed and lack medical supplies. The situation is dire, people are dying everywhere.

A wideshot of the head of the NGO's office, he is pacing up and down thinking carefully.
HEAD ON NGO.
We need help, there is no way we can change the corruptness of the government, the international instruments which are mean't to monitor corruption are inefficient. We need help.
