John Perkins is the author of several books including Confessions of an Economic Hitmen and The Secret History of the American Empire which details the workings of an invisible empire whose sword was debt. He details how as a private consultant, he helped the WB/IMF to enslave Third World countries through debt, corruption and military invasion so that western corporations could exploit their people and resources.

Perkins was chief economist of the international consulting firm Chas. T. Main and founder and chief executive officer of Independent Power Systems, a United States energy company committed to producing electricity with environmentally beneficial technologies. He has also served as a consultant to the World Bank, the United Nations, and Fortune 500 corporations; lived and worked in Asia, Africa, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East; studied with indigenous prophets and shamans; and taught at universities and learning centers on four continents. A graduate of Boston University’s School of Business Administration, he served in the Peace Corps in the late 1960s and as United States Representative to the United Nations’ International Atomic Energy Agency in the 1970s.

Perkins is one of the world’s foremost authorities on shamanism and shapeshifting. Trained since 1968 to bring ancient wisdom to the contemporary world, he leads tours to the Amazon, Andes, and Himalayas. He is founder of Dream Change, a worldwide grassroots movement of people from diverse cultures and backgrounds dedicated to shifting consciousness and promoting sustainable lifestyles.

Perkins is author of several books on shamanism, including Shapeshifting; The World Is As You Dream It; Spirit of the Shuar, which was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize; and the New York Times bestsellers, Confessions of an Economic Hit Man and The Secret History of the American Empire. He has been featured on ABC Television and the A&E and History networks, and in Time, Cosmopolitan, Elle, and many other publications.

I know his work well. As an insider in how the system really works, an understanding of this is important.

Like any organisation, the World Bank comprises of different groups of people. Definitely, there are people dedicated to improving the human and environmental condition. However, as history as shown, there is also a corrupt element to the World Bank policies which invariably lead to western corporate domination.

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development.The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
