It's a good video, but I find Chris Martenson's videos to be a bit more in depth.

The thing I like about this one is the solution proposed (concurred by Ellen Brown in "Web of Debt"). Essentially a "Greenback system" of currency created as a form of value, rather than debt.

A green back system looks good to me.

Economics is a passion of mine. I learned early to "follow the money trail." It quite explains the hidden machinations of our history on planet Earth. Keep getting the information out. We are all debt slaves; either individual or through our governmental debt.

You might like my post about a new idea for our future which would replace our outdated and abusive economic system: Open-sourcing: New social networking idea which allows us to see beyond our present market economics model.

as long as the party could go, we clapped the system, the process and even scoffed at those those who could not match our material wealth...we brought big houses, big cars, dined at the ivy, shopped at Harrods.....and even little things surprisingly either using credit cards or taking on a mortage....we took risks which we did not needed to but we did nonetheless...so now we should only blame ourselves...

even now do we really realize that a society that teaches us to base our lives on consumption will not be ultimately sustainable?...if you have used a credit card, you knew you had to pay the money back...if you had taken a mortgage, you knew you had to pay it back...nobody had put a gun on anybody's head and forced one to buy anything...

so if we have been a victim (as we realize now) of this unbridled consumption driven society, we need to pause and question the poverty of our own cultures that drove us to do so.

The global money system is okay...parts of Asia (Australia, Thailand, Japan, China, India) that had a high savings rate survived the global financial crisis...the old rules of conserving cash and never spending more than one's earning are still relevant today...countries which used consumption as a macro strategy for growth would be feeling the pain and along with it, those that relied on them also feeling the pain....but I feel angry that the wh*** world is suffering today because of what corporations and people in consumption driven societies did....this is the same with global warming....i see a distinct pattern....the principles of money market is just fine....what is wrong is with ourselves....let us all reflect on our own actions and try to learn something from this mess.

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development.The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
