Awesome awesome idea... parabolic reflectors can create a LOT of heat at their focal point, much like a magnifying glass can burn leaves (or ants if your feeling mischevious). I knew a guy that had a parabolic reflector (handheld) cigarette lighter. Very cool. Also, if you even need to make a solar over, you might be able to utilize the parabolic idea for heating food.
