A crash course in changing the world.
Nothing really was "surprising" to me....however one statement seemed important - there is a certain motivation with a moderate dose of fear. This is a common strategy used today in some businesses to motivate workers (e.g. fear of layoffs - when its the bottom 10%) To much can immobilize, but a slight amount can be one motivating tool. Not the best one in my opinion - but it can be one.
Statement from one of the case studies: Fear is a solution, not the problem. It simply makes no sense to say, "I want you to take precautions, but I don't want you to be afraid."
