Downtown Juarez. at night, there are few people on the street, the fear can be sensed everywhere, the bussines are closed and few cars go around. There are cartel signs in the walls and you can hear gunfire somewhere around.

from the sky the city can be seen as a ghost town, its life is bleeding away.

MAYOR 1
We need help to stop drugs and cartel violence, if we live like this more time the city will be lost to fear for a long time.

OFF-PANEL 2
Its Not the only city other places live like this..

MAYOR 3
I cannot let this happen, we must stop it now.

PANEL C
Day time a view of the schools, children stop going out of fear, the police department looks empty too.

POLICE OFFICER 1
I hear that the network has helped other places in africa and the favelas in Brazil perhaps they can help us too.

MAYOR 2
If only we could contact them right now.

POLICE OFFICER 3
You need to send and Evoke and they will listen.

Shows the urgent faces of the two man desperate for help.

The Mayor computer shows a message, This is an urgent Evoke from Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, we need your special set of skills to solve the drug and violence problem in our community.

The network has been watching for some time the development of the situation, the message has been received its time to take action, Alchemy asambles a team to part ASAP.

So Evoke is not just a myth.

Mr. Mayor, this is Alchemy. we understand you need us, do you know how we operate?

MAYOR 2
I only know what all people gossip about you.

Thats what we are doing.

EUREKA is taking some pictures of the surrondings.

EMBER interviews the mother of one of those kids

and promise to her When we’re done, you will not have to fear drug violence anymore.

PANEL B

EUREKA take a picture of a drug dealer talking to some kids around a corner

she hear what he says: you will bring me the money you get selling it and I will make sure you keep some from your own entertainment.

AMBER notes that poverty is common around, education is not working.

We keep going out untill we can see a big map of the country from the sky.

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The meal

It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal. I walk to the fridge and open it to see what there is for me to eat.
