Urgent Evoke

A crash course in changing the world.

Hello,

What you are holding, reading or listening to is the Evoke Manifesto.

You may be feeling leery right now , what did I get into ?

A manifesto ...isn’t that some kind of doc**ent that bad actors use to rant about there so called goals? The answer is yes and no.

First let’s consider what is a Manifesto?
Well the word is a noun. It comes from the Italian language and was created in 1620.

Webster’s dictionary defines Manifesto as a written statement declaring publicly the intentions, motives, or views of its issuer”.

When you finish this doc**ent, this manifesto you will know the intentions, the motives and some of the many views that make up Evoke. Then you can make the decision as to whether this manifesto is something that should be reviled, denounced and destroyed or articles that should be praised, shared
and taught. As in everything Evoke does, we will give you the knowledge; the decision as always is yours.

Section 1: Goals

The goals of the Evoke network is to provide an efficient infrastructure for its Agents to operate in so that they can respond to the needs of people facing disaster by providing education, training and knowledge so that those people can take responsibility for their lives, their environment and their future. Evoke does not endorse any one doc**ent of fair governance or human rights over another but draws its strength from the beliefs personified by the words found in the UN declaration of Human rights.

2) How does Evoke work?

Evokes command and control rests with Alchemy, the founder of Evoke. Evoke HQ monitors world communications, climate models, and real time changes to the environment through our state of the art satellite and communication network. Once an Evoke has been identified or has been called for by a world leader, Alchemy identifies the skills sets needed then a call for them goes out over the network and agents with those sets get assigned to that emergency or endeavor. Once agents get on the ground, they employ those skills to problem solve, educate and find long term solutions to short term disasters.

3) Who are the Members?

Evoke Members consist of people from all over the world, of every creed, nationality, age and backgrounds imaginable. Some members are in a support role, some are analysts, and some are field agents. All
are highly competent at what they do, committed to Evokes principles, and pro-active members of their societies. They share the same characteristics once used to describe Americas President Franklin
Delano Roosevelt, I paraphrase Isaiah Berlin here

“ Evoke Agents stand principally by their astonishing appetite for life and by their apparently complete freedom from fear of the future; They are people who welcome the future eagerly as such, and convey the feeling that whatever the times might bring, all would be grist to their mill, nothing would be too formidable or crushing to be subdued and used and molded into the pattern of the new and unpredictable forms of life into the building of which they and their allies would throw themselves with unheard of gusto and energy.”

4) Why do they join?

For myriad amount of personal reasons and one very apparent one – at some point they realized that they had to take a stand, to make a difference, to no longer just watch things unfold, they had to be a part of these events and work to steer them towards the good.

5) What is their code of Ethics?

This is best summed up by the code the Agents themselves created.

1. Make a positive contribution. I
post only blogs, pictures, and videos that I believe will promote the
awareness, knowledge, or enjoyment of other members of this community and
advance their educational missions.

2. Give credit. I always cite my sources and my inspiration.

3. Appreciate great efforts. I spend time
exploring the quests and missions completed by my fellow agents, and I leave
positive feedback.

4. Always encourage, never disparage. Leave
positive, helpful feedback and share links and connections that will add
momentum to others’ efforts. When I disagree, I will be respectful. I will
spend more time amplifying the ideas I agree with and helping the projects I’m
excited about, than arguing about ideas I don’t agree with, or disparaging
projects I’m not excited about.

5. Keep my eyes on the prize. Our goal is to
make the world a better place

6) Why does the EVOKE network like to create mystery and spectacle? normal"">

Evoke is a mystery for many reasons from safety for its members and agents and safety for the mission.
Many people do not want Evoke to succeed, perhaps they have a vested interest be it monetarily or ideological for a event to unfold negatively. By working in the shadows, we do not present these forces with anything to rally against. You cannot fight that which is not there. As far as the spectacle we create, what better way to get people to look into how a dire situation was turned around. It inspires people and it satisfies the Agents sense of accomplishment. You have to look to your peoples well being as much as you do to the people they help. Evoke does a fine job of both.

7) How does creating curiosity -- and sparking awe, wonder and imagination -- help the EVOKE network achieve its goals?

Awe, wonder and imagination are present in everyone, they are the tinder that helps spark Curiosity, which once sparked can be fanned into a roaring fire of learning. This learning is linked back to the initial awe and wonder and therefore is fun. We humans learn best through play, and so we teach that way.

This Manifesto was written by me, pick up another written by another Agent and you will find different words, different quotes but one thing will remain the same. The spirit that occupies this manifesto occupies every single one of them…I sum that spirit up like this..

“To do something, however small, to make others happier and better, is the highest ambition, the most elevating hope, which can
inspire a human being”

mso-fareast-font-family:Symbol;mso-bidi-font-family:Symbol"">* John Lubbock quotes (English Biologist and Politician,
1834-1913)

Welcome to Evoke, now what course shall YOU take?…

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Let's start with the chemical constituents of this plant:37 % Non-Nitrogen-Extracts19 - 29 % Ash9 - 21 % Fiber4 % Fat22 % ProteinOnce the leaves are drid, their protein content can reach an astounding 40 %, which is much higher than beef, which even under the best of circ**stances can never exceed 31 % protein. In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

All of the out of date foodstuffs have been automaticaly thrown away by the fridge, they will be recycled tomorrow as animal feed or something. I see i have organic local eggs and some local cheese. Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
