A crash course in changing the world.
More than find
ing a new way of charging up something is more important to find the right time to do it.
Therefore I thought that to make a logical and efficient use of the energy we should change the way we charge our devices.
For example, here we can see a graph of energy demand in Spain:
As we can se on the graph consumption drops drastically from 21:00 to 4:00 and then rises up from 4:00 to 7:00 and stays high until 21:00.
This is logical as we are sleeping at those times of the day, but if we compare demand with Eolic production (first renewable energy in Spain) we can see that there is something wrong:
As we can see on the images the production of this kind of energy reaches it’s maximum at 22:00 and we can find that the less productive time of day for this energy is 13:00 or so…
What does this means? We are using energy when we lack of it and we don’t use it when we are producing it.
Therefore we should star using the night time to charge all our devices. Phones, tablets, mp3, laptops and in the future our electric cars.
Also is very important that we normally sleep between 5-8 hours so we could make our charging time longer with less demand intensity what would make our devices get fully charged in 5 hours instead of 30 minutes during the night.
So I think there should be some thing of charger that you could tell him how long are you going to charge your device and that inside that range of time it charges your device in the most optimal way.
