Game1? What's this? This is for this.
I think that Courage is power that a lot of people are lacking these days in the world I live in - that being, the United States. Or rather, it's been shoved into a mental locker by Fear. Peer Pressure doesn't have to be an active, "Everyone's doing it" kind of event. It can be passive, as suggested by Mob Mentality.
A fear of leaving the pack. A fear of being forsaken by the mainstream.
For this piece of evidence, I'm going to highlight a small website that was started in a fit of passion. It's an underwhelming work-in-progress, but the girl behind it is one of my best friends.
If it were any other person, I wouldn't bat an eye at the site. Knowing what she's put into it, well, it impresses me enough to showcase it here.
This is Courageous because very few people will just do what they can to help, even in the face of impossible odds. In the face of possible ridicule for having a silly little site with barely any formatting on it, and wanting that site to do so much.
I think Courage should be cultivated and encouraged (pardon the wordplay [pardon the pun]). So, say bravo for those who have the guts to put themselves out on the line. One day, they might end up confident enough to take a risk that could change the world for the better.
