Urgent Evoke

A crash course in changing the world.

1. What positive experience did you have with Evoke?

During playing Evoke I had the chance to collect some positive experiences. It was great to see how many people are social comitted. They help people enthusiastically and with readiness for action. Most of them do this without getting money.
Evoke reached to occupy oneself playfully with very important things which you normally don't pay so much attention to. Therefor it was very interesting to tackle these topics extensively and to think about how to counter certain problems.

2. What negative experience did you have with Evoke?

The task of the missions were mostly very short und exact, so that I knew what to do. The texts which were given to solve tasks where however mostly very long. I wish that the information would be broadcasted more often by videos or other media. Especially this braodcast of information could have been more varried.
In the beginning I reckoned on more communication with the different Evoke players and that we really work together on possible solutions. But I recognized very early, that this wasn't the case.
Everybody was searching for a possible solution for the task and for me there was rarely a communication with the other players. The game developed more to a single game, than everybody tried to reach something together.

3. What should be improved on Evoke to increase the motivation?

The more frequent use of different media like e.g. videos could increase the motivation or rather the interest for evoke. It is natural that not every article can be combined with a very interesting video however could the information be broadcasted more succinct.
A further idea would be to improve and combine the communication between the different players. This would surely save the interest of a lot of players when they notice that they communicate directly with other players.
Surely it also depens on each individual player how he wants to be involved in the system but if you enable the player a clear communication with the other players and integrate him better with this the feeling of the single player would not be evoked.

4. What should be improved on Evoke to increase the information brokering?

As I already mentioned in the other answers I think that the braodcast of information could be increased by including more media like e.g. videos.
With this the start with the topic could be easier and braodcast a certain knowledge with the important information.
It is very deterrent if you see only text especially when these texts are very long.

5. What should be improved on Evoke to facilitate the solution on a task?

In principle the tasks given by Evoke can be solved very good with the given information. The tasks are formulated clear and understandable. Furthermore there is given enough aid for each topic like e.g. links for texts and websites, which are available to get enough information for the topic.
But to work on the tasks completly, it is important to investigate to get more information for the topic. With the given topics an the tasks which go with them, Evoke gives the players specific food for thought which aims at a own investigation an to tackle the prevailing topic.

6. Was there an event while playing evoke, that especially remained in your memory? Please describe that event!

Especially mission 3 - Power Shift I kept in mind during playing Evoke. The example was a women which developed a special football. The special at this football was that it generate electric energy.
It was no problem to power a lamp or something else. You only had to play a little bit with the football first. In connection with the mission, it was very interesting to see other solutions for this energy problem e.g. a dancefloor which generates energy.
In generell I can say that I remember a lot from Evoke. There were a lot of information for the predominate problems and examples for people or organisations which confront with this problems and develop solutions to solve them.

7. Which game mechanics (Points, Blogs, Leadercloud, Comics, Stories, Powers, Achievements, Levels (Quests and Missions), receive Feedback, Profile, awarding Powers, giving Feedback) did you perceived positively?

During the game Evoke I precevied the quest and missions most positive. I have to say that I played particular attention to this.
The tasks for the individual quests and missions were good and understandable. Furtheron I found the award of Powers a good idea. Like this you could show the other players very easy that their solutions are recognized and that the work they put into the tasks, is appreciated.

8. Which game mechanics (Points, Blogs, Leadercloud, Comics, Stories, Powers, Achievements, Levels (Quests and Missions), receive Feedback, Profile, awarding Powers, giving Feedback) did you perceived negatively?

Unfortunately there are some game mechanism which were negative. An example is the poor function of the Leadercloud. This function was represented poorly or not at all.
This didn't matter to me because the main tasks was to tackle with the given problems and not to appear at the leaderclouds

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
