Urgent Evoke

A crash course in changing the world.

So I've just got a dozen messages in my inbox about people cheating on here. I really don't give a damn, because the Evokation has no bearing on the amount of points you have, and if you're using Evoke, I don't think you should be worried about points as the premisce of the game is solutions and ideas, and not making the most points you can.

so PLEASE stop drawing away from the point of the game, Come up with new ideas, innovate and discuss, rather than going on and on and on and on about people who are buddying up to make points. the points mean nothing, just part of the game, enjoy the interaction and if you're so worried about points, go and play pac-man instead.

@Panamericana If the speedo is broken, don't bother looking at it. Look straight ahead and drive safely to where you want to go. :-)

Oh and if where you want to go is to get the most points, I guess you'll have to not follow the rules.

Hi Panamericana - again, thanks for your passion to see the best possible results come out of EVOKE.

I understand your concern that someone who has "cheated" the system to increase their points might then walk away with funding, etc - this would not be an ideal outcome for anyone - and would have serious consequences.

I would ask, however, that you trust that those behind EVOKE who will be a****sing where any funding, etc goes at the end will be carefully looking at those at the top of the leaderboard, and not working blindly off points.

Working on the belief that sanity will prevail in the end, can you understand the points that others are making here? The best place you can be putting your energy is in collaborating, creating and EVOKEing - to use it up trying to moderate others is probably not your best option.

I hope that helps. Thanks again Adam for a wonderful post drawing the attention back to where it belongs. =)

+1 to Josh; I was crafting a post that basically said the same thing. Don't worry, we aren't going to go blindly (just based on points). Scholarships will go to those who earned them, not cheated their way to them.

Good points. You gave me a lot of bread to eat. I am happy about that. Checkout my blogpost and comment:Energy Efficiency.

Agreed.
And here I was thinking that this was a game for grown ups (not the XXX kind of games).
But it seems that here too there are still childish people on the move.
Don't know who they are and don't care either.

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Let's start with the chemical constituents of this plant:37 % Non-Nitrogen-Extracts19 - 29 % Ash9 - 21 % Fiber4 % Fat22 % ProteinOnce the leaves are drid, their protein content can reach an astounding 40 %, which is much higher than beef, which even under the best of circ**stances can never exceed 31 % protein. In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal. All of the out of date foodstuffs have been automaticaly thrown away by the fridge, they will be recycled tomorrow as animal feed or something. I see i have organic local eggs and some local cheese. Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
