A crash course in changing the world.

Power Sustainability

This time I figured it would be a good idea to talk about a little dream that I already have. I'm the kind of person that one would call, optimistic for the future. I have my h*** life imagined in my mind right down to the kind of light bulbs I would have implemented in my rooms (L.E.D. of course). One thing I also mixed up in my future concoction was the sustainability of my house, and generally all of my everyday living habits.

House - When the year 2020 is actually here, the efficiency of solar panels is likely to have grown by a fair amount, not to mention the other innovative solutions that are bound to be thought up (Probably by some person in their bathtub as they run out in the streets shouting, 'Eurika!' ). The main point is that I am going to have my house with little to no energy usage being unsustainable, but rather will have implemented many sustainable energy sources (Even heating my water with solar panels... or I could just take a bath in the sun; don't know how my neighbors would react).

Transportation - Now this dream will come sooner than the rest (most likely in the next two years), because currently I have a street racer that I ride to school everyday that of course... runs on gasoline. That being sad in the next few years I plan to purchase another street racer; I know what you may be thinking but get this... the next one will be electric. Not only does this provide zero emissions, it costs less for me, it has practically no noise pollution when compared with gas motorcycles, and as an added bonus... it still looks cool. Not too shabby I think.

So overall, one thing that most people do reduce some of their environmentally polluting ways of living to help the environment. I say, "Instead of reducing your pollution and prolonging the problems, make a complete change... because the only thing your reducing is your conscience."

Good imagination there! I think you have hit on something rather important as well - it has to be cool! Your future speed racer will be cool, and it will probably catch on. It will probably be a great 'green' solution. I think I want your speed racer more than I want to live on lentils - no matter how 'green' they are! LOL Well done...:o) +1 Vision from me...

Thanks,

I've had my eye on one from mission motors however its way too expensive right now.

I'm going to wait until they release their commercial version.

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development.The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
