So, with the recent "fad" (excuse the word usage.. I'll get to that later) of global climate change, people all around the world are becoming aware of this problem. Corporations are advertising clean fuels, and industry is spewing out new, expensive lifestyles. It is apparent to be an enormous problem, one that affects everyone. But is the jazz towards it just a "fad"?
Reuse, recycle, sustainability, carbon free; these are words that are commonly found around our dinner tables and in congress. It would appear that investors and developers have learned these words as well. What I mean, is that products are being created that enable a clean, carbon-free lifestyle, lifestyles that can only be found with gold and silver. It's actually becoming quite popular, and people are forking over millions of dollars for products to lessen their carbon footprint. It's almost a contest, isn't it? "Let's see who can help the environment out the most; gimme a sec, let me pull out my checkbook....". What people don't realize is that these great lifestyles can be obtained by changing a few habits here and there.
To sum it all up: A lot of environment-healthy habits are common sense; carpool, walk, bike, buy local. We have all heard them before. You don't need a pair of recycled milk jug Crocs to wear to the park, your hiking boots will suffice. :)
