Urgent Evoke

A crash course in changing the world.

We are the young, the fearless, the new. You; lie, cheat, steal, dirty our waters, pollute our air, take--and give nothing back. This has been your world, but that is going to change. We are going to make it change. We are EVOKE and this is our Manifesto.

We will fix this world that you have so ignorantly destroyed. We will share ideas, resources, time and wealth to those who need it most. We will collaborate in such numbers that the very ground will shake. You will see our deeds and know that what has been, will never be
-- ever again.

We know no race, no age, no ethnicity, no religion, no government, no statues or background--and everyday our numbers swell. Our movement is inevitable, our resolve is unshakable and our goal; to build a better world then the one we were given. To build cities and communities that are sustainable and resilient. Create systems of education that are accessible to all, and improve our systems of agricultural world wide, so that every mouth is full.

We will change this world one day at a time, and we will do so by empowering everyday people to believe that they too have a part to play. We are EVOKE and this is our Manifesto.

I really hope people aren't making this an Us against Them kind of thing. We're all in this together, you know?

to me it isn't a fight specifically about people but ideas.

So why call me out by using the word "you"? (And by "me" I mean anyone reading this, though I am indeed old...) It certainly sounds like you're making me, and others, into the enemy, and blaming me for all the problems in the world. Is that the message you want to convey?

if you feel that you fall under this catagory: lie, cheat, steal, dirty our waters, pollute our air, take--and give nothing back.

then yes I would say that you are my enemy,

If you believe that you don't do these things, then I'd say you are part of the problem rather than being part of the solution. Nobody is perfect. We're all trying to do the best, and we have to work with what we've been giving, by our parents, culture, media, and so on. And the only way I see that we can heal the wh*** planet is by helping the wh*** planet heal.

powerful words..I'd have to say I'm with you wintermute

I should clarify, if you don't realize you're part of the problem, then you take away your power to be part of the solution. And that's because your main power in life is the ability to change your own behavior. Change yourself, and your world naturally changes, too. :-)

I never said that the before mentioned destructive mentality does not exist within me, it does. I am as much of the problem as most, but I HATE that about myself and everyday since evoke began I have strove to eradicate that mentality.

"Our movement is inevitable, our resolve is unshakable" I dig that!!!

I love this - But am I right in thinking that by 'you' it is stating our former way of life and 'we' is grouping the movement to change our way of living to bigger and better ways? Rather than the literal meaning of 'you' and 'we'?

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
