Hello Jane,

It's amazing that you have time to answer everybody's complaints on Evoke - I am impressed with your ability to stay reasonable =) Loved your talk on TED, my dad showed me and that's how I found this site... I have enjoyed Evoke very much so thankyou for your brilliant ideas.

=)

MAK doesnt speak for the community. I agree that the low bandwidth site is awesome! It could be mirrored somewhere in Africa, to get the latency really low.

Hi Jane! After posting my bike for power at airports, tourist destinations and schools, etc., blog, on March 20, at http://www.urgentevoke.com/profiles/blogs/new-ways-to-power-conventional
I was really very happy to see your interest in Aaron Freeman's very similar blog post http://www.urgentevoke.com/profiles/blogs/chinese-seniors-at-outdoor-gym?xg_source=activity dated 30 March.
I was wondering if you have had time to read and comment on my blog post, dated March 20, where I detailed power-generating bike fitness opportunities world wide--Pedal for Flights, at airports, Pedal for sights, at tourist destinations (co-mailed this to Mdlenka's blog, among others for her eco-tourism), pedal for schools... as you noted later, the possibilities are endless.
I would really appreciate your comments on my blog--I don't want to get into trouble with Ning and kicked off again, and I don't seem to have much success getting any comments on my posts--and I see you are interested in this idea--which I have also sent out pretty widely. So I am taking a chance and commenting to you directly. Please comment on my pedal power blog. I think the idea could contribute a lot to sustainability, community cohesiveness, etc... world wide. That's why I posted it!! Thank you.

I'm glad that content not having anything to do with evoke is being removed. I got confused when I saw images of energy drink hats. I even saw one of a Nintendo DS.
I also would just like to say I love your TED talk video. I just watched it in class and it was very informative and inspiring.
I hope you have a great day :D

I personally couldn't see much wrong with panamerican's video share. If he hadn't explicitly asked not to be powered up he would have received a point for local insight or knowledge share from me. It may have been more appropriate for the social innovation mission as opposed to the recent missions but held some relevance never-the-less. I guess it is your game, and you can do as you see fit. sigh!

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Let's start with the chemical constituents of this plant:37 % Non-Nitrogen-Extracts19 - 29 % Ash9 - 21 % Fiber4 % Fat22 % ProteinOnce the leaves are drid, their protein content can reach an astounding 40 %, which is much higher than beef, which even under the best of circ**stances can never exceed 31 % protein. The meal

It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal. I walk to the fridge and open it to see what there is for me to eat. All of the out of date foodstuffs have been automaticaly thrown away by the fridge, they will be recycled tomorrow as animal feed or something. I see i have organic local eggs and some local cheese. Foods are vacc** sealded for easy…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
