Urgent Evoke

A crash course in changing the world.

For 10 weeks we posted, discussed and work hard to complete the missions, now is your turn to Speak Up.

How many people you expected at first and how do you feel now managing more then 19.000 members?

What do you thing about the blogs. videos and photos posted so far? Quantity and quality.

What was the first objective when you decide to create evoke?

What do you think will be the social impact and ramification provoked for the evoke game?

This are my questions... all the agents are free to ask and the Mentor, Super Agents and Alchemy free to respond.

yes... if for instance you go to this mission:
http://www.urgentevoke.com/page/food-security-act-1

the STATUS link is missing.

anyway Ternura wisely suggested me the low-bandwidth site... =)
I don't know, Is that a requirement? I have completed almost everything without accepting the objective.

It is very hard to build personal relationships with more than a few hundred people, so I'm glad we have many leaders here!

Overall there's some VERY HIGH quality coming through, along with a fair dose of sillyness and random connecting tissue (the less serious posts).

What do you think will be the social impact and ramification provoked for the evoke game?
We are already seeing shifts in relationships, programs and evokations! I can't wait to see these evokations take form and grow in the world beyond Evoke.
I think I best summed up my thoughts in my little section of this post. However:

How many people you expected at first and how do you feel now managing more then 19.000 members?

I had no idea what to expect, really. I always knew it would be a reasonably large community, but not that large. Now, admittedly, not all of those 19K are active, but even with what's left, it's an amazingly large community.

What do you thing about the blogs. videos and photos posted so far? Quantity and quality.

Quantity: it's always nice having something to read. :) However, you guys posted so much that I doubt any of us could even read 20% of what's going on at one time! Luckily, the community itself is a very good filter.

Quality: there will always be a quality gradient when you have so much information coming in, but almost everything I've seen has had some thought and care put into it before posting. A thumbs up to everybody for doing your true best on all of this fantastic work.

What was the first objective when you decide to create evoke?

I'm not the person to answer that. I doubt I could do justice to the plans of everybody who created EVOKE.

What do you think will be the social impact and ramification provoked for the evoke game?

Obviously, there's the EVOKATIONS. Some of the projects are really destined for greatness, as they're wonderful ideas whose time has come. Others might succeed--others might not. That's the most visible face of change that EVOKE has created. But that's not what really matters. What I think will make the most impact is the community itself. Just the fact that this community has formed and has plans for staying together afterwards is great. The members of the community have also all been touched by EVOKE in some way, major or minor. With this experience living in the back of their heads, who knows how their plans will change and what they will do?

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Let's start with the chemical constituents of this plant:37 % Non-Nitrogen-Extracts19 - 29 % Ash9 - 21 % Fiber4 % Fat22 % ProteinOnce the leaves are drid, their protein content can reach an astounding 40 %, which is much higher than beef, which even under the best of circ**stances can never exceed 31 % protein. In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal. All of the out of date foodstuffs have been automaticaly thrown away by the fridge, they will be recycled tomorrow as animal feed or something. I see i have organic local eggs and some local cheese. Foods are vacc** sealded for easy…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
