The above topic was my favorite. Free primary education for all is key to the growth of any country. In my country free compulsory education is being implemented.Despite the fact that its happening in my country , we still have a lot of challenges. Just the other day it was discovered that millions of Kenya shillings was being stolen from the free primary education fund. Some of the donors have pulled out because there is no transparent way of monitoring. Another problem is that the girl child can not go to school on some few days of the month because she can not afford the Sanitary towels.It has been an issue for most poor kids.Some of the organizations are trying to do something but i feel that it is a need and the government should be able to cater for this.

I agree that education is a primary path to help people. Ideally it should be free through a high school (12 + years) education or higher. The simple problems of corruption and theft should not get in the way. Programs have to find "transparent ways of monitoring. " And simple needs like sanitary ones you describe have to be met. +1KS

I think getting everyone to agree that education should be free is a tremendous accomplishment. Problems with such a sweeping idea are to be expected, I suppose, and betrayals too unfortunately (but heartbreaking / infuriating nevertheless). I hope these prove to be mere bumps on the way to a better road.

It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal.
