Urgent Evoke

A crash course in changing the world.

My final EVOKATION is very simple. I would like to start a basic medical research facility in Malawi Africa. Malawi doesn’t suffer a lot of civil war and turmoil that the rest of Africa suffers. So the investment in
the country would be a worthwhile and wouldn’t be destroyed in a short period
of time. I feel that if we build facilities like this in Africa we can get the
following benefits.

  1. The Africans can contribute to the medical community.

Thing is that a lot of medical breakthroughs come from the west. Most African medical students have to come to the west to learn medicine. This is very limiting on who can get training. Not only that this process
doesn’t produce enough doctors for the landmass. We also can not ignore the
fact that African methodologies for medicine may allow us to revolutionize
medicine.

  1. In the case of new outbreaks of any viruses in Africa their can be resources close by to use.

One of the biggest cost that Aids and other outbreak workers have to overcome is transportation of goods. What if not all the goods had to be transported but they could be either made or shipped from Malawi. This would
cut cost. Not only that this location would provide a place close to Africa to
do research so pandemic scientist have a place to do research. This is
essential because this cuts down the time in which the cures are research and
implemented.

  1. Malawi has a high Aids rate. The community needs a visible symbol of a solution to the problem.

Malawi is racked by Aids like most of the other African countries. But it seems that no one has given the tools of science to them. Condom, sex education, and Aids medicine handouts has not put a dent the spread
of Aids. It has only reason. There is a subliminal idea that high level
technical education and Africa does not mix. I submit this EVOKE to state the opposite.

I know this isn’t as long as most evocations but I
think that this investment will help the future of Africa by allowing Africans
to help themselves.

I believe education is more crucial than setting up the medical facilities because it's more important for the residents to learn about how to use them, even how to prevent themselves from the diseases. If we don't do so ,they won't know how to use the medical resources. Then, they can't keep themselves from the diseases.I suggest that we should deliver the medical team to promote the correct knowledge of how to use the facilities. The team is composed of those who volunteer to help. And those who volunteer to help should possess the humanity and the medical knowledge. The best choice is for those who have professional abilities, such as doctors, experienced students, and mass media. I believe that only to popularize these knowldges could keep the human from dying out.

Thing is all those things have been done in the past and have not helped at all. Having the people on a constant cycle of dependence doesn't help the people at all. Having a medical research facility allows for the locals to contribute potentially to the cure of the disease. I'm not saying that education and education are bad it is just that it hasn't changed the situation there at all nor has it changed the situation in most of Africa. We have been doing that response for over 10 years and nothing has changed. We have to do something different.

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
