Urgent Evoke

A crash course in changing the world.

MY EVOKE EXPERIENCE: A SELF-EVALUATION.

"The unexamined life is not worth living."

Ringing the curtain down.

80 blogs.

23 photos.

6 videos.

What remains, of a time stretching from March 14th when I came on Uevoke.

I finished the ten quests.

I finished all the missions.

I have done my evokation and only need to edit it a little and send it in again when it is due.

Some more tidying, editing and backing up. Done.

I was hero of the week once.

A post of mine was featured.

I have got all the mystery runes except the last one.

I was not featured.

I collaborated with Ninmah, Jan Lampe, Nicholas Nagao, Panamericana, Gabriel Martin, Sarah O.Connor(?), Peggie Scott, Shawei Mbindiyo, Sunny Dupree, Elizabeth Bonsigniore, Sam Gutekenst, Martin Thuering, Samiran Roy, Michele Baron, Aseel Honein, Ternura Rojas, Gilda Lorena Arias, Karamveer Lalh and countless others.

After Alchemy, I am the largest power generator. I read, commented and power voted on more blogs than anybody else. I continue. The last time I looked I had 1500 points and climbing for power generator. I am proud of this.

In terms of number of blog posts and points I am in the top six, along with Sarah- Panamericana, Reid, Patricio, Iyamuremye and Shakwei.

In three polls conducted by agents I am in the top five. I am a megahero.

I have at present 359 friends.

I spammed them and they spammed me. It was good. As a result I got to read all their posts.

My mail box is satisfactorily full to overflowing.

I made an Evoke Indian Directory.

I made distiniguished friends here, intellectuals of high quality, mainly Iron Helix, Alberto Cottica, David Dewanee, Rahul Dewanjee, Ezra Ho, Michele Saba, Jeremy Laird Hogg, Panamericana, Sarah O.Connor(?), Patricio Buenrostro Gilhuys, Michael Cameron Keyes, Daniel Blanchard etc...

I had memorable interactions with Alchemy and also with Jane, Simon, Nat Fruchter, Mita, Calida, Josh Judkins, Ken Eklund and Chelsea which enriched my exerience here considerably!

I was given special mention thrice by Gene Becker, Calida De Bello and someone else, probably Josh Judkins.

I have lost count of the number of times I have been mentioned in blog posts by my friends in Uevoke. My hyperreal simulacra also appears to my great pride in Sarah- Panamericana's comic exacty as what I would want to be portrayed as, as part of the underground global resistance movement's Delta squadron evoking change for the cosmos, against tyranny and for freedom in its fullest sense.

You may think I'm blowing my own trumpet.

To be honest I do not understand it. Any of it.

I have tried to analyze what is happening. Hence this post.

There is in everyone a deep longing for a symbol that does the work of shewing forth what they really long for.

The symbol's referent need not be real.

Alchemy is such a symbol. But everyone needs a more tangible one which seems to point to a reality more tangble than the one portrayed by fiction.

Alchemy points to Jane and Kiyash.

But Uevoke points correctly to many other things - the text (the signifiers), the world(contexts), the referent(the origins) and the signified ( the meanings).

Delta, Evoke 4 ever, Panamericana, Sarah O.Connor(?), and the simulacrae of I and Jeremy in Sarah-Panamerica's comic/graphic novel represents the longing in Uevoke for real change aa a site under construction, the longing of nature for bipolarity which is a yin and yang ,the only paradigm where the golden rule can be practised becasue it inherently posits as its ground of being the reconcilation of the selves with the others. I am honoured and proud that Sarah(?) and Panamericana saw fit to give me a hypereal representation in their cyberspatial creative venture.

This is what it points to.It is not about any person. It symbolizes our deepest longing for hope in a shattered world, wounded as it looks almost beyond redress, crystallizing our hope for a better tomorrow into a set of names, people, groups and organizations, constellating it into a splendid array of what can become celestial bodies for the betterment of the future.

As for me, I restate my plea.

How we cherish the differently abled, especially the autistic people in our midst, wil be the mark of humanity's survival. If well, it will survive. If not it will die. This is my vision.

I would like to thank at least a 1500 people on evoke.

But since the list is too long and I cannot name you all, it would take me at least a week of typing, I would only like to say - you know who you are, my friends. Thank you for everything. We made each other what we are now, bringing a little bit of difference into each other's lives through our interactions.

It was good and will continue into the future.

Thank you, my dear friends, to whom I owe more than I could give you because an individual can rarely give to a group more than what he gets.

But remember as we continue on this journey together, I gave you a symbol.

It stand for your true longings.

I gave my gifts,sharing with the gift of art's wings, poesie, creativity, dreams, visions, and a symbol that is an empty signifier that you can make to stand for whatever you want if it is true and good and beautiful. I am with you in giving you the copyright to use this symbol then.

The symbol of a name. None know its origin or its meaning. It serves therefore better than Alchemy.

The name Koshy.

"Ulysses

It little profits that an idle king,
By this still hearth, among these barren crags,
Match'd with an aged wife, I mete and dole
Unequal laws unto a savage race,
That hoard and sleep, and feed, and know not me.
I cannot rest from travel: I will drink
Life to the lees: All times I have enjoy'd
Greatly, have suffer'd greatly, both with those
That loved me, and alone; on shore, and when
Thro' scudding drifts the rainy Hyades
Vext the dim sea: I am become a name;
For always roaming with a hungry heart
Much have I seen and known; cities of men
And manners, climates, councils, governments,
Myself not least, but honor'd of them all;
And drunk delight of battle with my peers,
Far on the ringing plains of windy Troy.
I am a part of all that I have met;
Yet all experience is an arch wherethro'
Gleams that untravell'd world, whose margin fades
For ever and for ever when I move.
How dull it is to pause, to make an end,
To rust unburnish'd, not to shine in use!
As tho' to breathe were life. Life piled on life
Were all too little, and of one to me
Little remains: But every hour is saved
From that eternal silence, something more,
A bringer of new things; and vile it were
For some three suns to store and hoard myself,
And this gray spirit yearning in desire
To follow knowledge like a sinking star,
Beyond the utmost bounds of human thought.

This is my son, mine own Telemachos,
To whom I leave the sceptre and the isle-
Well-loved of me, discerning to fulfill
This labour, by slow prudence to make mild
A rugged people, and thro' soft degrees
Subdue them to the useful and the good.
Most blameless is he, centred in the sphere
Of common duties, decent not to fail
In offices of tenderness, and pay
Meet adoration to my household gods,
When I am gone. He works his work, I mine.
There lies the port, the vessel puffs her sail:
There gloom the dark broad seas. My mariners,
Souls that have tol'd and wrought, and thought with me-
That ever with a frolic welcome took
The thunder and the sunshine, and opposed
Free hearts, free foreheads - you and I are old;
Old age hath yet his honour and his toil;
Death closes all: but something ere the end,
Some work of noble note, may yet be done,
Not unbecoming men that strove with Gods.
The lights begin to twinkle from the rocks:
The long day wanes: the slow moon climbs: the deep
Moans round with many voices. Come, my friends,
'Tis not too late to seek a newer world.
Push off, and sitting well in order smite
The sounding furrows; for my purpose holds
To sail beyond the sunset, and the baths
Of all the western stars, until I die.
It may be that the gulfs will wash us down:
It may be that we shall touch the Happy Isles,
And see the great Achilles, whom we knew.
Tho' much is taken, much abides; and tho'
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved heaven and earth; that which we are, we are;
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

Alfred, Lord Tennyson"

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development.The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Let's start with the chemical constituents of this plant:37 % Non-Nitrogen-Extracts19 - 29 % Ash9 - 21 % Fiber4 % Fat22 % ProteinOnce the leaves are drid, their protein content can reach an astounding 40 %, which is much higher than beef, which even under the best of circ**stances can never exceed 31 % protein. In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal. All of the out of date foodstuffs have been automaticaly thrown away by the fridge, they will be recycled tomorrow as animal feed or something. I see i have organic local eggs and some local cheese. Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
