Good Morning, Christian. It has been quite some time since anyone has opened up a blog to comment on Evoke that has reached me in my small corner of the world. Oddly enough, it comes at a moment as I contemplate semi-retirement. Having been pushed economically to the brink of poverty in support of my efforts to make changes in, not only the delivery of quality, affordable health care services; it also comes after my attendance at meetings in Washington DC regarding Food Safety Modernization Act implementation discussions. As we begin to face globalization and food trade that is growing exponentially, it will become even more important to build international trust. This meeting was attended by leaders from all over the world, and from the highest level of leadership to the 'grassroots' people who live by their leadership's authority. As I grow older and hopefully wiser, it is apparent that we need more effective methods to build trust on an international level. This will require speaking and writing with intergrity and respect, at all times.
This brings me to one of my greatest concerns and frustrations, at the moment. It seems to me that with out new ease of communication online through such social media as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and the like, that we have become far more casual in our level of communication. We have begun to forget the value and shear power of our words, be they auditory or in text form. I like to remember it has been said, and I paraphrase 'if the words you have spoken today were to be woven into a cloak to protect your sleep at night, would you feel peace?'
Most of us cherish our comfort, joy, and peace, yet do not realize the source comes through us. So I am renewed by this moment as a brief, refreshing rain has broken through the sluggish and muggy heat that has enveloped our corner of the world and will return to my slumber until the dawn wakes me to begin the day.

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

All of the out of date foodstuffs have been automaticaly thrown away by the fridge, they will be recycled tomorrow as animal feed or something. I see i have organic local eggs and some local cheese. FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More
