Episode 2 CODE PHRASE: "When spider webs unite, they can tie up a lion."

It's an old Ethiopian proverb:  "When spider webs unite, they can tie up a lion." What do you think this code phrase means to the EVOKE Network?

Through the power of cooperation and collaboration we can achieve something great.
Well said, Shakwei!

Brings to mind the book of Ecclesiastes Chapter 4 verses 9 to 12 which reads: "Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work. If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up! Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken."

Although this verses traditionally speak to marriage, it summarizes well the strength of UE. I am my brothers keeper.
Spider silk is very strong, webs are intricately designed and purposeful so when this is increased in multitudes is such a force that any obstacle can be overcome. So too when the forces of any group with a vision and purpose unite, nothing is impossible. However, if you look at it a different way, if there are groups working to conspire then not even "The King of the Jungle" can stand on his own, a pride, a collective must be formed.
Individuals can unite to contribute and combine their own little efforts to create a larger force that can overcome any obstacle.

Even though one of us is small when we all unite we can make big changes. We can also tackle hard decisions.

This phrase makes me think that if people work together as a team, they can tackle anything. If we did this all the time nothing can come between us or stop us.

i think it means that if any group works together they can achiev anything. no mater how small you are if there are enough people you can make a huge change.

I think this old Ethiopian proverb, in code phrase to the Evoke Network, means if people work together, they can do great things.

I think it means that when you combine good ideas, you can come up with one great idea. When you work together, you can accomplish a lot more than you would think.

This phrase means that when people or something come to together they have the ability to tackle anything.

I think this quote means that when everyone wants to make a change, then they unite, then the change can be made and even more can be done.

When so many small things combine, they dont seems so small anymore right??

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
