Still disturbed by the presence of 'branding' in the evoke agent's activities... combined with the claim for 50% of the profits last week... while wanting to remain anonymous about their involvement - Something about this is kinda dystopian to me.
i actually kind of think that is the point. I would actually love it if EVOKE in this ARG turns out to be going "too far". too be too greedy, or too secretive. at the end of episode 2 we see someone take a picture of one of the agents. the one taking that picture - is that a journalist trying to uncover 'what is really going on'? or will that person be portrayed as an evil person interested only in destroying the work of EVOKE?

but yeah, surely the comic authors are aware of the kind of impression we get of EVOKE here. the question is how we deal with that information.

It does seem that there is some counter EVOKE network seeking to, at best uncover the secrets or at worst undermine their efforts.
The posters say "Reward for information on unusual activities related to food shortage" with that C X P symbol, with the same symbol on the hand of the photographer.

Perhaps Alchemy is actually behind some kind of sabotage which creates food shortage which then allows him and Evoke to profit from giving the solution.

I'm thinking the C X P symbol is something to do with the Citizen X organisation mentioned in the first comic (which Alchemy didn't like).

Please remember to help update the wiki http://urgentevoke.wikia.com/wiki/Urgent_Evoke_Wiki
Also interesting to note that Ember, Quinn and Eureka do not know each other. Evoke must be an anonymous network where only Alchemy knows who they are or how to contact them. These may not be their real names but rather alias.
EVOKE is simply an opportunity for everyone wherever you are in the world to share information that relates to you. Of course, a lot of people especially in place of authority may feel uncomfortable. It is just a "smart" way of ALCHEMY to find out more about what's going on in various part of the globe and help to find solution with individuals without "really" being involved. Smart ALCHEMY.
interesting thinking there. to inspire people to 'do something' without worrying too much about all the bureaucracy... let's see how the story develops

Then how do you explain the 50% profit Evoke takes? Alchemy profiting off the goodwill of everyone else's activity?

The train of thought is messy... Not so user friendly you said it was on CNN.

As for food security, just spent 1+ month in Port Au Prince, Haiti...Locals find their way around problems like we humans do, while international organisations make for very messy and bureaucratic structures, instead of using pre-existing networks...business as usual huh?
The Evoke Network brings together the Webs, not the spiders. None of the agents know eachother or colaborate, but they each contribute toward solving the problem.
Yes.... The secrets are being reveled on the EVOKE. We are seeing new changes and challenges on the Network and EVOKE is really combination of interconnected TEN Powers..... Evoke help to understand the SECRET.... that is hidden with clear message that EVOKE IS THE PROOF.. THAT WE HUMAN BEINGS ARE REALLY SERIOUS ABOUT CHANGING THE WORLD.... BRINGING MORE PROSPERITY AND COMFORT AND ENSURING EQUAL RIGHTS TO ALL...........EVOKE Networkers have enormouns abilitites and skills those are being now raised on the right plateform to see how world is coming out ....... Episode 2 is the start of action oriented thinking and colloboration for solution....
There are efforts to find a solution to food shortage problems, and the participants are asked to join the said efforts through initiating their own views and ideas in regard to strategies that might help to overcome the said issue.

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
