The story is excellent, and it looks like citizen x is starting to have a soft spot for the Network.
At the moment, based on the community so far, I trust the network.
Evoke consists of an ever growing number of dedicated, passionate, well informed and well connected individuals who are demonstrating high motivation to work together and solve global and local problems in every direction.

At the moment, based on the story so far, I don't trust Alchemy.
I'm suspicious of the difference in tactics between Tokyo, London, and Rio.
I'm unsure of who Alchemy is accountable to.
I support Evoke's purpose, and its principles too...
But I am leery of putting so much faith in the actions of an independent team of "action heroes."

How does Alchemy set priorities?
Who controls the profits?
Are there any safeguards other than Alchemy's own morality?
If not, why do we trust Alchemy to guide our network?

I don't distrust, yet. But I am concerned.
I'm posting this in my own blog for anyone who would like to make direct answers to me...
I like the purpose of the network. They are heroes in the shadows, their superpowers come from their determination and good will. As we see they have no superhuman strengt, velocity or hability. They are normal human like everybody else, so what make the difference? Are they just fiction characters? I don't think so. What we only need to start being like that is the confidence and all of the will for making a change in the world.

Alchemy is a misterious leader. I wonder if he takes a break with a normal life like the other members of Evoke.
The story is good and seeks to make citizen x aware of the true nature of the situation and encouraged to find solution. AWARENESS AND SOLUTIONS are the key word.
Only when you have crossed the river can you say the crocodile has a lump on his snout.
I feel there is something vital that is missing.

I'm not quite sure what it is, but the code name Alchemy has something to do with it, I bet. Alchemy and Alchemist has some interesting connotations, all of which are not positive (no offense, of course) and I'm waiting to see how that plays out.

I have a feeling secrecy has more to do with publicity structure than actual care who knows what. Like- Mother Teresa couldn't go anywhere without somebody saying something about who she was, and she took higher 'god-like' qualities that she probably really disliked.

From wikipedia - Alchemy as I'm too lazy to do real research *yawn*

Several early alchemists, such as Zosimos of Panopolis, are recorded as viewing alchemy as a spiritual discipline, and, in the Middle Ages, metaphysical aspects, substances, physical states, and molecular material processes as mere metaphors for spiritual entities, spiritual states, and, ultimately, transformations. In this sense, the literal meanings of 'Alchemical Formulas' were a blind, hiding their true spiritual philosophy, which being at odds with the Medieval Christian Church was a necessity that could have otherwise led them to the "stake and rack" of the Inquisition under charges of heresy.[8] Thus, both the transmutation of common metals into gold and the universal panacea symbolized evolution from an imperfect, diseased, corruptible, and ephemeral state towards a perfect, healthy, incorruptible, and everlasting state; and the philosopher's stone then represented a mystic key that would make this evolution possible. Applied to the alchemist himself, the twin goal symbolized his evolution from ignorance to enlightenment, and the stone represented a hidden spiritual truth or power that would lead to that goal. In texts that are written according to this view, the cryptic alchemical symbols, diagrams, and textual imagery of late alchemical works typically contain multiple layers of meanings, allegories, and references to other equally cryptic works; and must be laboriously "decoded" in order to discover their true meaning.

Is there a non-specific religious connotation? A sense of driven purpose with altruistic qualities? I wonder...

I disclaim that I am very sleepy and just woke up from a long nap. That means I'm either completely right or way off the mark, and have no idea of trying to figure out which one it is. BTW Alchemy (can I call you Al? tee hee) You rock.
I gather that there are many untapped talents and resources in our communities that we should encourage and give credit to them. The utilization of the potential of those resources, in favor of community's welfare, is a task that Evoke network should render its utmost attention.
man..are u kidding me? there's too much to read and listen to. how do you people get into this? good lord. i find this to be very very tedious.
I think that the water in the story is contaminated and the problem is that people are drinking it because there is no clean water.
This episode was a nice twist in the story!

I think this episode is going very well. I think it is safe to say we can trust the network. There are many hardworking and trustworthy people in the network, so why not trust them? I think they might be hiding something but I'm not positive just what yet.

The EVOKE mission seems to be going pretty good. I believe that we might be able to trust the network, but other than that, people probably have something up their sleeve for the next couple of episodes..........

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
